The group of Bodegas Olarra, the owner of 4 estates in Spain, traces its origins to the early 1970’s. The main estate is situated on the outskirts of Logrono, right in the heart of D.O.Ca Rioja and within the sub-zone of the Rioja Alta. Constructed in 1973 by the great Architect Juan Antonio Ridruejo, Bodega Olarra is characterized by the beauty and complexity of its facilities. According to Decanter magazine, is called the “Cathedral of LA Rioja” due to the Beauty & Grander of its Y-shaped building which consists of 111 hexagonal domes and includes 27,000 oak barrels in its underground cellar. There are additional estates, within the Group, located in Ribera Del Duero (Altos De Valdoso), in Tierra de Castilla (Casa Del Valle) and in Rioja (Bodegas Ondarre).
There are several brands produced by the Bodegas Olarra, Cerro Anon being the flagship one, featuring exceptional quality wines.
